The job
Weathered stone, warm again
01
The challenge
Black lichen and green algae had settled into the soft sandstone, worst on the shaded north face and around the window sills.
02
Our approach
We used a gentle biocide and a low-pressure rinse, working in small sections so the stone never stayed wet for long.
03
The result
The stone is back to its warm honey colour, with crisp edges around every window.
